? I searched “Miami Tours” on Google and found Half Price Tour Tickets on the first page, scrolled through their tour packages and found a great activity that we could
all participate in, Segway rentals for South Beach! At first I wasn’t too sure about it, I’ve
seen them on T.V before but my curiosity tempted me into agreeing. I always
wondered how these things balanced themselves on two wheels while you being on
them at the same time, that was the only thing that concerned me about the segway rentals, but my brother talked me into going. Thankfully Half Price Tour Tickets has multiple locations in South Beach, extremely convenient for us, a total of 8 so we chose
the closest one to us which was a couple blocks away, no more than a 15 minute
stroll in the magic city.

Of course before we even thought about going with
them we checked out their reviews on the internet and found loads of great
feedback from previous tourist just like us, and about the Segway tours as well
which eased my nerves a lot about riding on one. We got to the location and
they had the 4 Segway for rentals lined up for us outside waiting, we signed the papers
and were ready to head out, we ordered 1 hour at a cheap price of $30 a person.
We had to get training before we were ready to head out, our trainer was
extremely nice and friendly, surprisingly the Segway’s were simple to maneuver
and completely self-balancing, the more relaxed you were, the easier it was to
handle.

Once we were ready we set out to explore the beach on our own accord. I
haven’t had that much fun in a while, we were turning heads while riding past
people on the boardwalk, the wind blowing in your face felt so good, we could
see the beach while riding down, watching all the people, the skies were clear,
it was just a wonderful experience. In that hour we covered almost the entire
South Beach (Miami Beach) area on these segway, giving us an idea of where to go next from there, we were having such a blast we decided to extend our time to two hours. Can’t wait to
see what else Half Price Tour Tickets has in store for us.
